Our program consists of two types of training.

One part consists of in seat training provided on site or at a nearby location to the institution.  The training is designed and tailored to meet the needs of the lending institution and the lender.  The training topics include but are not limited to:

    • Legal, Financial and Credit Concepts
    • Loan Supporting Documentation and Structuring
    • Principals of Financial Statements and Projections
    • Assembling Information for the Credit Decision, including Narrative Development
    • Completing the Analysis, Making the Decision with Support Including the Proper Narrative
    • Risk Ratings, Risk Identification and Risk Mitigation
    • Relationship Building and Business Development

 

Another part consists of training modules developed and tailored to the lending institution that involves self study by the lender.  The program is designed to span 2-3 months with testing following each module.  A certain score is necessary before the lender can move to the next module.  The training topics include but are not limited to:

    • Nuances of the Institution’s Lending Environment
    • Background of Agricultural and Commercial Credit
    • Principles of Financial Statements and Projections
    • Legal, Financial and Credit Concepts
    • Assembling Information for the Credit Decision
    • Completing the Analysis and Making the Credit Decision
